Didn't you know raggedy jeans are back in fashion? Now you can start the raggedy pants fashion.....we'd all love you for it!
You could put a patch over the area - I had a wonderful white "big shirt" (when I wasn't so big) that got some of my paint on it. I decided to keep it for painting only, and just sew a patch of lace or other fancy white fabric over the spot, and any future spots it was bound to get. Many patches later a couple of ladies gave me an unexpected visit while I was wearing this heavily patch-worked blouse, and just raved over it. From then on I stopped using it for when I was painting!
