Welcome to the 52 weeks of ME! challenge page. I'm so glad you are here.
As a mom, it is easy to get lost in the enormous amount of things we have to do and neglect to take care of ourselves. Things that we enjoyed before we had kids just get lost in the shuffle. After all the work is done, there is little time left for the things we spent time on before we had kids.
The experts always say to take some "Me time" frequently to feel recharged. Ha! Really? Who has time for that?
Well, I have decided that I do. I have time for that! Every week in 2011 I am going to take some time out and do something just for me. Sometimes it may be as simple as buying a new hair product. Sometimes it may be as big as going out of town for a weekend without kids. (Hey, a girl can dream!) But I am going to do SOMETHING that makes me feel more like ME and less like Mom.
Would you like to join me in this Challenge? There are 3 ways to get involved:
1. You can take the 52 weeks of ME! Challenge and decide to do one thing every week that is just for you! Put the 52 weeks button on your sidebar and let me know you are joining me in this challenge and I will list you in the blog roll on this page. Come back every Friday to link-up what you did that week that was just for you.
2. Even if you don't want to take the challenge all 52 weeks this year, you can still participate anytime you choose. Write about what you did that week just for you and link-up any Friday this year.
3. If you don't have the time to write about your ME! time during the week, that's OK! Just leave a comment on the Friday post about what you did that week to spoil yourself. Then, spread a little comment love to the other participants.
